MAXCOM™ makes
it safer for employees to use workplace chemicals
and less expensive for employers to achieve full
compliance.
The
MAXCOM™ System is a category-based system that
helps employers provide proactive information to employees.
An employee who is well educated about the chemicals
they are working with is a safer employee. Safer employees
mean higher productivity and lower costs for an organization.
MAXCOM™ categorizes workplace chemicals into
36 hazard categories called Safe Use Guides and 3
hazard levels (Red, Yellow, or Green), which informs
a user of the hazards associated with the chemical.
Each chemical is fully reviewed and summarized
by a qualified MAXCOM™ toxicologists to determine
the chemical’s Hazard Level and Category, secondary
hazards (irritant, corrosive, etc.), target organs
(liver, lungs, etc.), routes of entry (inhalation,
skin contact, etc.), and manufacturer recommended
personal protective equipment (respirators, gloves,
etc.)
